Love Potion

Our Love Potion cocktail has several love-inducing and sensual ingredients to heat up your night. Cardamom has an uplifting and enticing aroma that perks you up and energizes. It has been used by many ancient cultures as an aphrodisiac. Capsaicin in cayenne pepper brings some heat, which stimulates the nerve endings in your tongue and stimulates the release of sex-drive boosting neurochemicals. Ginger stimulates the circulatory system and has a warming quality to it. Ginger is also said to increase sensitivity in the erogenous zones. We add grenadine for a sexy red hue. Add all of this to our precisely calibrated love cordial that is formulated to lower barriers to intimacy, increase tactile sensations and support a greater sense of connection between lovers. Our Love Potion is the perfect cocktail on date night or anytime you want to spice things up.

 

Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Grenadine syrup
• 0.5 oz. Lemon juice
• 4 oz. Club soda or any sparkling water
• ⅛ tsp cardamom
• ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for those sensitive to spicy)
• 1 tsp freshly grated ginger (dried ginger can be used as a substitute)
• Ice
• Koan Love Cordial

Yield: Makes one cocktail, double for two.

Directions:

Add grenadine, lemon juice cardamom, cayenne and ginger to a shaker of ice. Shake ingredients until well combined. Pour in soda water and Love cordial and stir.

Pour cocktail into a Collins glass, add ice and garnish with a piece of candied ginger or a bird chili on a cocktail pick.
